Light the night

Saturday Night Fireworks

The boom of the launch, the splintering crack of the explosion, the glittering rays of light that fall gently to earth.  There’s something about fireworks.

Every Saturday night of the Charlestown Seafood Festival the night is capped off by an awesome display of fireworks to light up the night! Display begins at 9 p.m.

In the event of rain, the fireworks display will take place Sunday at the same time.

Classic Car Show

The Rhode Island Street Rodding Association Car Show is held on the Sunday of the Charlestown Seafood Festival from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Those wishing to bring their car to display should arrive at 10 a.m. at Gate 1. There is a $10 cost for each car.  Anything 30 years or older is considered an antique. All makes and models of cars are welcome.

Club members judge cars in show and award Top 25 with trophies based on condition, workmanship, and overall quality.  Each year there are additional trophies that the club chooses to award, for example, a Memorial Award, Ladies Choice, or a Presidential Pick.
